When Mr Austin wanted to replace his tired old low pitch lean to conservatory, he chose conservatory replacement specialists Refurbish My Conservatory.
Registered installer Conserv-A-Tech were tasked with replacing the existing conservatory roof, doors and windows with modern, energy efficient ones. They were also able to advise him as to the state of the conservatory base thanks to a thorough on site inspection of the existing conservatory.

The new conservatory structure has benefitted from a completely new design of a hipped conservatory roof that is glazed in modern solar control glass. This conservatory roof glass moderates the heat build-up and glare of the sun in the summer months, maintaining a comfortable conservatory environment. Yet, due to specialist glass coatings which keeps the warmth in during the winter months this provides all year round use for the new conservatory.
The new PVCu windows and French doors have incorporated the latest energy efficient glass and high security multi-point locking, while black guttering has been incorporated to the main guttering of the house.

The first stage in the installation process was the removal of the old conservatory roof and dirty PVCu panels, along with the original windows and doors which were all carefully disposed of keeping the existing brickwork base intact.
This existing conservatory base was assessed to ensure the new structure could be safely installed, then the new installation was carried out in just 5 days! The new energy efficient glass that was used allows the conservatory to be warm throughout winter and cooler in the summer months – giving the customer the ability to use their new conservatory all year round.
We wanted to replace our conservatory to enable us to sit and enjoy the garden in the evening. We only used our old conservatory during the day as it was too cold at night. The new energy efficient glass now keeps the room warmer and allows us to enjoy the garden for longer in the evenings, even in winter. We are delighted with the result.
